You buy it because of desire factors or aspiration . Commodity fetishism . Stop producing toxic myths regarding the environment and use new ways of promoting the environment to sell more products . Eg Reinvent the myths . Compassion fatigue . Eg if you see shocking pictures of starving children etc we are shocked at first but eventually we don’t give a shit . This is compassion fatigue . For Getty be understanding of the visual culture and university topics such as scale and place binarys etc . Put your images online and people may buy them .
Image as commodity eg , the image as a raw material to sell . Not many creatives think of their work as a commodity .How do you think about the image for a specific use as a commoditie . Try and enter some images in a stock agency it could make you rich eg the Tim Flash green frog and or the handshake image , find a gap in the market and target it .

People would buy an animal magazine due to cuteness and their anthropomorphic behaviours eg we would have to shoot to these certain specifications and add them to the commodity . Eg Fluffy eared younger species for a western market . but the German market is far less citified so you have to take this into account , you have to think about who your client is .
Or you could shoot for a Calendar . If you shoot for calenders you shoot 2 or 6 . Shoot trees or and image in the different seasons for a Calendar . Birthday cards are a winner with cuteness again and fluffy ears .

I need to get real about licensing and copyrighting my work . I make money with photography so therefore be serious about people re using my images . I need to take copyrighting very seriously .
How I tag my images on 500 px or my WordPress blog online . Be more efficient with your key wording to discriminate my images from the rest . Eg if you tag frog and sustainable you get less hits and images shown so your image has more chance of standing out . It is better to think more business like than creative to be successful at this . They are now famed for the breadth of their subjects and are starting to weed out the images that dont sell . Images are now ploughed into philanphropic endeavour . It used to be the place where you put all the images you wasn’t doing anything with . You should engage with stock and sue the above techniques to your advantage .
